Sec. 405.
(1) Any medical or psychiatric facility operated by the United States veterans administration may if it agrees accept patients under any applicable provision of this chapter and may at its discretion avail itself of any other provision of this chapter.
(2) Any patient hospitalized pursuant to subsection (1) shall be entitled to invoke the provisions of this chapter.
