Sec. 465.
A meeting of the drainage board may be called by the chairperson or 2 members of the board, on notice sent by registered mail to each member, setting forth the time, date, and place of the meeting. The notice shall be mailed not less than 5 days before the time of the meeting. The affidavit of the chairman as to such mailing shall be conclusive proof thereof. A majority of the members of the board shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business, but a lesser number may adjourn from time to time. A meeting may be adjourned from time to time. Unless otherwise provided in this act, an action shall not be taken by the board except by a majority vote of its members. In the event of the adjournment of a hearing, it shall not be necessary to advertise the adjournment of the hearing. All orders issued by the drainage board shall be signed by the chairperson.
