Section 25. If he represents to the jailer that he desires to be examined relative to his property and ability to pay, the jailer shall notify the proper court. The court shall thereupon appoint a time and place for the examination of the debtor and notify the district attorney for the district by a notice, which shall be served by giving to him personally, or by leaving at his usual place of abode, thirty days at least before the time appointed for the examination, an attested copy thereof.
