Section 10 - Injury to Signals, Monuments, Buildings, of United States; Penalty

Section 10. Whoever wilfully injures, defaces or removes a signal, monument, building or appurtenance erected, used or constructed under the authority of the United States shall be punished by a fine of fifty dollars, and be liable in tort to the United States for all damages so sustained.
