§3531. Definitions
As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise indicates, the following terms have the following meanings. [PL 1997, c. 698, §2 (NEW).]
1. District. "District" or "fire district" means a district created by vote of a group of municipalities for the purpose of providing fire protection.
