9-2011 Unlawfully engaging in the banking or trust company business; penalty.

9-2011. Unlawfully engaging in the banking or trust company business; penalty. It shall be unlawful for any individual, firm or corporation to advertise, publish or otherwise promulgate that the individual, firm or corporation is engaged in the banking business or trust business without first having obtained authority from the commissioner. Any such individual or member of any such firm or officer of any such corporation violating this section, upon conviction shall be guilty of a class A, nonperson misdemeanor.
