17-6425. Transfer of stock, stock certificates and uncertificated stock; applicability of uniform commercial code. Except as otherwise provided in this code, the transfer of stock and the certificates of stock which represent the stock or uncertificated stock shall be governed by article 8 of the uniform commercial code, as set forth in article 8 of chapter 84 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated, and amendments thereto. To the extent that any provision of this code is inconsistent with any provision of such article, this code shall be controlling.
