261.25 Appropriations — standing limited.
1. There is appropriated from the general fund of the state to the commission for each fiscal year the sum of forty-eight million eight hundred ninety-six thousand fifty dollars for tuition grants to qualified students who are enrolled in accredited private institutions.
2. There is appropriated from the general fund of the state to the commission for each fiscal year the sum of four hundred fifty-six thousand two hundred twenty dollars for tuition grants for qualified students who are enrolled in eligible institutions. Of the moneys appropriated under this subsection, not more than one hundred thousand dollars annually shall be used for tuition grants to qualified students who are attending an eligible institution under section 261.9, subsection 3, paragraph “b”.
3. There is appropriated from the general fund of the state to the commission for each fiscal year the sum of one million seven hundred fifty thousand one hundred eighty-five dollars for vocational-technical tuition grants.
4. This section shall not be construed to be a limitation on any of the amounts which may be appropriated by the general assembly for any program enumerated in this section.
