215.23 Servicer’s license — fee and term.
1. The department may adopt rules pursuant to chapter 17A setting forth qualification requirements for persons applying for a servicer’s license, including an examination.
2. In determining a servicer’s qualifications, the department may consider the specifications of the United States national institute of standards and technology, handbook 44, “Specifications, Tolerances, and Technical Requirements for Weighing and Measuring Devices”, or the current successor or equivalent specifications adopted by the United States national institute of standards and technology.
3. The department may require the payment of a license fee for an amount established by rule for each license issued under this section.
4. A license shall expire two years from its date of issuance.
