8-23-2-2. Commissioner; Appointment; Compensation

Sec. 2. (a) The governor shall appoint a commissioner who is responsible for organizing and administering the department.
(b) The commissioner:
(1) serves at the pleasure of the governor; and
(2) is entitled to receive compensation set by the budget agency.
