Chapter 33. Application and Definitions of Cemetery Law
23-14-33-21. "Human Remains" or "Remains"

Sec. 21. (a) "Human remains" or "remains" means the body of a deceased individual.
(b) The term includes:
(1) the body in any stage of decomposition; and
(2) cremated remains.
