The following is adopted as the pledge of allegiance to the state flag:
“I pledge allegiance to the Georgia flag and to the principles for which it stands: Wisdom, Justice, Moderation, and Courage.”

The 2022 amendment, effective July 1, 2022, substituted “Moderation, and Courage” for “and Moderation”.
