L. 1945, p. 394, § 5, not codified by the General Assembly, provides that any provisions of the law, charter, ordinance, resolution, by-law, rule, or regulation which are inconsistent with the provisions of that Act be and the same are hereby suspended to the extent that such provisions are inconsistent with the provisions of the Act.
