Article 6 - Abandoned Mobile Home
§ 44-7-115. [Effective July 1, 2023. See note.] Foreclosure of Liens on Abandoned or Intact Mobile Homes

Notwithstanding any conflicting provisions in Code Section 44-14-349, all liens acquired upon an abandoned mobile home or intact mobile home under Code Section 44-7-113 shall be foreclosed as follows:

Delayed effective date.
Code Section 44-7-115 is set out twice in this Code. This version, as set out above, is effective July 1, 2023. For version effective until July 1, 2023, see the preceding version.
The 2022 amendment, effective July 1, 2023, in paragraph (8), in the first sentence, deleted “Article 2 of” preceding “Chapter 3”, substituted “seven days after” for “seven days of”, substituted “petition for review” for “notice of appeal” twice, and substituted “reviewing superior or state court, the clerk of such court shall” for “trial court, the clerk shall”, and, in the second and third sentences, inserted “reviewing superior or state”. Ga. L. 2022, p. 767, § 3-1/HB 916, not codified by the General Assembly, makes this Code section applicable to petitions for review filed in superior or state court on or after July 1, 2023.
