§ 43-34-11. Continuing Education Requirement; Required Training for Physicians

The 2019 amendment, effective July 1, 2019, in paragraph (a)(1), in the last sentence, deleted “or” following “licensed orthotists or prosthetists,” in the middle, and inserted “, genetic counselors, or persons seeking renewal of licensure as a genetic counselor” at the end; substituted “provided that” for “however,” in the middle of the second sentence of paragraph (a)(4); and added paragraph (a)(5).
The 2021 amendment, effective July 1, 2021, added paragraph (a)(6).
Code Commission notes.
Pursuant to Code Section 28-9-5, in 1997, “biennially” was substituted for “biennally” in the second sentence of paragraph (a)(2).
Pursuant to Code Section 28-9-5, in 2019, “Article 12” was substituted for “Article 11” in the first sentence of paragraph (a)(5) and “ Code Section 43-34-313” was substituted for “ Code Section 43-34-303” at the end of paragraph (a)(5).
