The 2015 amendment, effective July 1, 2015, substituted the present provisions of this Code section for the former provisions, which read: “As a prerequisite for the renewal of a dispenser’s license, the dispenser must provide proof to the board that the dispenser has successfully completed 14 hours of continuing education in a program approved by the board. The board may promulgate such rules and regulations as are necessary to implement the continuing education requirement.”
