The 2018 amendment, effective July 1, 2018, in the middle of subsection (b), inserted “or a divided highway, including, but not limited to, a highway divided by a turn lane,”, inserted “or on another half of a divided highway”, and substituted “controlled access” for “controlled-access”; and rewrote subsection (d).
The 2019 amendments.
The first 2019 amendment, effective February 15, 2019, in subsection (b), substituted “that are separated by a grass median, unpaved area, or physical barrier” for “or a divided highway, including, but not limited to, a highway divided by a turn lane,” near the beginning and substituted “on the separate roadway” for “on a different roadway or on another half of a divided highway,” near the middle. The second 2019 amendment, effective May 12, 2019, part of an Act to revise, modernize, and correct the Code, substituted “in subparagraph (B) of this paragraph” for “in subparagraph (d)(3)(B) of this Code Section” in subparagraph (d)(3)(A); substituted “subparagraph (B) of paragraph (3) of this subsection” for “subparagraph (B) of this paragraph”; in paragraph (d)(6); substituted “of subsection (c) of this Code section” for “of subsection (c) of Code Section 40-6-163” in paragraph (d)(14); and substituted “subparagraph (B) of paragraph (3) of this subsection” for “subparagraph (d)(3)(B) of this Code section” in paragraph (d)(15).
The 2020 amendment, effective July 29, 2020, part of an Act to revise, modernize, and correct the Code, substituted “entity that” for “entity who” in subparagraph (d)(1)(A); and substituted “data base” for “database” in the first sentence of paragraph (d)(9).
