Chapter 76 - Expedited Franchising of Cable and Video Services
§ 36-76-2. Definitions

As used in this chapter, the term:

The 2022 amendment, effective July 1, 2022, in the second sentence in paragraph (3), substituted “Such term” for “Cable service” at the beginning, substituted “accessed via a service that enables” for “provided as part of and via a service that enable”, “email” for “e-mail”, and “internet, including digital audiovisual works” for “public Internet” at the end; and in paragraph (16), inserted “by a video service provider” and substituted “internet” for “Internet” in the first sentence, and in the second sentence, substituted “This term” for “Such term” at the beginning, inserted “or direct-to-home satellite services,” and substituted “47 U.S.C. Sections 332(d) and 303(v), respectively, or video programming accessed via” for “47 U.S.C. Section 332(d) or video programming provided as a part of and via”, “email” for “e-mail”, and “internet, including digital audiovisual works” for “public Internet” at the end.
