Any deposits of a sponsor of a prepaid legal services plan deposited with the Commissioner pursuant to this chapter shall be administered by the Commissioner in accordance with Chapter 12 of this title as though deposited by a domestic casualty, life, or accident and sickness insurer authorized to transact insurance in this state.

The 2019 amendment, effective July 1, 2019, deleted “or as deposited by a corporation authorized to transact business in this state pursuant to Chapter 18 or 19 of this title” following “state” at the end of this Code section.
