The 2017 amendment, effective May 9, 2017, part of an Act to revise, modernize, and correct the Code, revised punctuation in paragraphs (2) and (4) and subparagraph (6)(A).

Pursuant to Code Section 28-9-5, in 2008, in paragraph (5), “a” was deleted following “increase survival and” in the first sentence, and a comma was inserted following “evaluation” in the second sentence.

Ga. L. 2016, p. 438, § 2/HB 853, not codified by the General Assembly, provides: “The department shall begin the rulemaking process to effect the provisions of this Act no later than June 30, 2016.”
