§ 16-12-51. Definitions

As used in this part, the term:

The 2016 amendment, effective July 1, 2016, added the proviso at the end of the second sentence of paragraph (1).
The 2021 amendment, effective July 1, 2021, deleted former paragraph (3), which read: “ ‘Director’ means the director of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.”; redesignated former paragraph (3.1) as present paragraph (3); and substituted “Secretary of State” for “director” in the first, second, and third sentences of paragraph (5).
