(a) A person claiming to be aggrieved by a violation of this chapter may file an administrative complaint with the Office of Human Rights within one year after the unlawful discriminatory act, or discovery thereof, in accordance with the procedures set forth in subchapter III of Unit A of Chapter 14 of Title 2.
(b) A person claiming to be aggrieved by a violation of this chapter shall have no private cause of action in any court based on a violation of this chapter.

Section 7031 of D.C. Law 22-33 repealed § 11 of D.C. Law 21-259. Therefore the creation of this section by D.C. Law 21-259 has been implemented.
Applicability of D.C. Law 21-259: § 11 of D.C. Law 21-259 provided that the creation of this section by § 5 of D.C. Law 21-259 is subject to the inclusion of the law’s fiscal effect in an approved budget and financial plan. Therefore that amendment has not been implemented.
