Chapter 137a - Municipal Housing Finance Assistance Act
Section 8-315. - *(See end of section for amended version and effective date.) Discrimination prohibited in housing financed under this chapter.

The municipality shall take all necessary steps to insure that occupancy of all housing financed or otherwise assisted pursuant to this chapter be open to all persons regardless of race, creed, color, national origin or ancestry, sex, gender identity or expression, age or physical disability.

*Note: On and after January 1, 2023, this section, as amended by section 14 of public act 21-32, shall read as follows:
“Sec. 8-315. Discrimination prohibited in housing financed under this chapter. The municipality shall take all necessary steps to insure that occupancy of all housing financed or otherwise assisted pursuant to this chapter be open to all persons regardless of race, creed, color, national origin or ancestry, sex, gender identity or expression, age, physical disability or erased criminal history record information, as defined in section 46a-80a.”
