Section 8-119l. - Operating subsidies for congregate housing projects.

The state, acting by and through the Commissioner of Housing, may enter into a contract or contracts with an authority, a municipal developer, a nonprofit corporation or a housing partnership for state financial assistance in the form of a grant-in-aid for an operating cost subsidy for state-financed congregate housing projects developed pursuant to this part. In calculating the amount of the grant-in-aid, the commissioner shall use adjusted gross income of tenants. As used in this section, “adjusted gross income” means annual aggregate income from all sources minus fifty per cent of all unreimbursable medical expenses. As used in this section, “housing partnership” has the same meaning as provided in subsection (n) of section 8-113a.
