[ Editor's note: This version of this section is effective until March 1, 2022. ] Except as provided in section 9-7-106 (5), any person who manufactures, sells, stores, transports, or uses explosives without first obtaining a permit therefor under the provisions of this article is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not less than twenty-five dollars nor more than five hundred dollars, or by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than one year, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
