Except with regard to the operation of a motorcycle, bicycle, electrical assisted bicycle, or electric scooter, a person shall not operate a passenger-type vehicle on any highway with any load carried on the vehicle extending beyond the line of the fenders on the left side of the vehicle nor extending more than six inches beyond the line of the fenders on the right side of the vehicle. A person who violates this section commits a class B traffic infraction.
