Article 23 - Fruits, Vegetables, and Other Agricultural Products
§ 35-23-116. Penalty

[ Editor's note: This version of this section is effective until March 1, 2022. ] Any person, firm, corporation, or other organization which violates any of the provisions of this article or willfully interferes with the commissioner or his deputies, inspectors, or employees in the performance or on account of the execution of his duties as provided by this article is guilty of a misdemeanor. Any person convicted under this article shall be punished by the revoking of his license by the commissioner and by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars, or by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than three months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
