Article 53 - Colorado Mesa University
§ 23-53-107. No Authority to Obligate State

Nothing in this article shall constitute authority to enter into a contract which in any way creates any debt or obligation upon the state on account of the construction of buildings or improvements; but buildings and improvements erected on lands under the control of the board of trustees and devoted to the uses of Colorado Mesa university under the terms of this article and the leasehold interest shall be exempt from taxation so far as permitted by the state constitution.
