§ 18-5-402. Rigging Publicly Exhibited Contests

(1) [ Editor's note: This version of the introductory portion to subsection (1) is effective March 1, 2022. ] A person commits a civil infraction if, with the intent to prevent a publicly exhibited or advertised contest from being conducted in accordance with the rules and usages purporting to govern it, the person:




(2) [ Editor's note: This version of subsection (2) is effective March 1, 2022. ] A person commits a civil infraction if the person knowingly engages in, sponsors, produces, judges, or otherwise participates in a publicly exhibited or advertised contest knowing that the contest is not being conducted in compliance with the rules and usages purporting to govern it, by reason of conduct prohibited by this section.
