(4) [ Editor's note: This version of subsection (4) is effective March 1, 2022. ] Insurance fraud committed in violation of subsection (1)(a) of this section is a class 2 misdemeanor. Insurance fraud committed in violation of subsections (1)(b) to (1)(e) of this section or subsection (2) or (3) of this section is a class 5 felony.
