[ Editor's note: This version of this section is effective until March 1, 2022. ] Any person who delivers to the agent for extradition of the demanding state a person in his custody under the governor's warrant, in willful disobedience to section 16-19-111, is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not more than one thousand dollars, or by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
