[ Editor's note: This section is effective January 1, 2022. ] Except as otherwise provided in the terms of a trust or this article 1.2, this article 1.2 applies when this state is the principal place of administration of a trust or estate. By accepting the trusteeship of a trust having its principal place of administration in this state or by moving the principal place of administration of a trust to this state, the trustee submits to the application of this article 1.2 to any matter within the scope of this article 1.2 involving the trust.
