§ 11-61-102. Retailers' Acceptance of United States Currency














(3) [ Editor's note: This version of subsection (3) is effective March 1, 2022. ] Failing to accept United States currency from a buyer as required by subsection (1) of this section is a civil infraction and, upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine of not more than two hundred fifty dollars per transaction or attempted transaction.
