A health maintenance organization shall not retroactively terminate a policy or contract issued pursuant to this part 4 except for fraud or intentional misrepresentation. For any termination other than for fraud or intentional misrepresentation, the health maintenance organization shall provide notice thirty days in advance of the cancellation of the policy or contract.
