Chapter 34A - Dietetics/nutrition Practice Act.
Section 34-34A-15 - Violations.

(a) It shall be a misdemeanor for any person to:
(1) Sell or fraudulently obtain or furnish any license or aid or abet therein.
(2) Practice dietetics
utrition or use the title dietitian
utritionist under cover of any license illegally or fraudulently obtained or unlawfully issued.
(3) Practice dietetics
utrition or use the title dietitian
utritionist or use in connection with his/her name any designation tending to imply that he/she is a dietitian
utritionist unless duly licensed so to practice under the provisions of this chapter.
(4) Practice dietetics
utrition or use the title dietitian
utritionist or use in connection with his/her name any designation tending to imply that he/she is a dietitian
utritionist during the time his/her license issued under provisions of this chapter shall be expired, suspended, or revoked.
(5) Otherwise violate any provisions of this chapter.
(b) Such misdemeanor shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $500 or by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than 30 days or by both such fine and imprisonment.
