Section 9887.2.

9887.2. Each application for a new or renewal license shall be accompanied by a fee of ten dollars ($10) for a new license or five dollars ($5) for a renewal license. The application shall be made upon a form furnished by the director. It shall contain such information concerning the applicant’s background and experience as the director may prescribe, in addition to other information required by law. No license as a lamp or brake adjuster shall be issued or renewed unless the applicant has demonstrated his or her experience and qualifications in accordance with such standards and examinations as the director may prescribe.
