60111. The Department of Education shall establish an information center of current alcohol, drug, and traffic safety education materials which may be used by school districts and teachers for instruction on alcohol, drug, and traffic safety education. The information center shall include, but not be limited to, all the following: current state and federal alcohol and drug laws, including those related to traffic safety; samples of effective courses of study, curriculum guides, teaching materials, and reference materials; and reports of current and school district policies related to alcohol, drug, and traffic safety education.
