5080.39. The department and other appropriate state and local agencies, and federal agencies to the extent permitted by federal law, with jurisdiction over inland waters are encouraged to cooperate with private groups and associations in order to do fish habitat and restoration work to implement the Adopt a Lake Program pursuant to Section 2003.5 of the Fish and Game Code.
