25172.6. The department shall enter into contracts or agreements with educational, professional, or trade associations, using a competitive bidding process, to establish specialized training programs with a statewide focus to instruct businesses and other entities on compliance with statutes and regulations governing the handling, disposal, transportation, and storage of hazardous waste.
