13526.3. Notwithstanding Section 13526, for the purposes of this chapter, joint powers agencies formed pursuant to Article 1 (commencing with Section 6500) of Chapter 5 of Division 7 of Title 1 of the Government Code shall be entitled to receive funding from the State Penalty Fund, pursuant to this article. This section is declaratory of existing law.
