ARTICLE 1 - General
Section 13111.1.

13111.1. (a)  The office of the State Fire Marshal may expend money appropriated for the administration of the laws, the enforcement of which is committed to the office. Such expenditures by the office shall be made in accordance with law in carrying on the work for which such appropriations were made.

(b)  A sum, not to exceed five thousand dollars ($5,000) in each fiscal year, may be withdrawn for investigative purposes from General Fund money appropriated in support of the office of the State Fire Marshal, without at the time furnishing vouchers and itemized statements. This sum shall be used as a revolving fund where cash advances are necessary, and at the close of each fiscal year, or any other time, upon demand of the Department of Finance, shall be accounted for and substantiated by vouchers and itemized statements submitted to and audited by the State Controller.
