(a) The board of directors of any school district or board of trustees of any state school, college, or university may cooperate with the State Board of Career Education in the establishment of vocational schools, departments, or classes giving instruction in vocational-technical subjects, including secondary instruction in agricultural subjects, trades or industrial subjects, or family and consumer science subjects.
(b) Any board of directors or board of trustees may use any moneys raised by public taxation in the same manner as moneys for other school purposes are used for the maintenance and support of public schools or state schools, colleges, and universities.
