(a) Within thirty (30) days after the expiration of the time period for the public officer or employee to effect corrective or remedial action, the agency shall transfer to the Secretary of the Department of Finance and Administration a document containing a summary of the violation and any corrective remedial action taken.
(b)
(1) The secretary shall review the summaries of violations received. The secretary may:
(A) Accept the summary and approve the corrective or remedial action by the agency;
(B) Request additional information regarding the violation and corrective or remedial action by the agency; or
(C) Impose additional corrective or remedial action upon public officers and employees of executive agencies as provided in § 19-1-609.
(2) Quarterly, the secretary shall submit a summary of all violations of the fiscal responsibility and management laws, including any corrective or remedial action by the agency or the secretary, to the Governor and members of the General Assembly.
