Foster parents and children in the custody of foster parents who are residents of the state shall be provided free admission to state-owned museums and state parks; provided that eligibility for free admission shall be contingent upon demonstration of proof of identity, residency and status as a foster parent or child in the custody of a foster parent, in accordance with rules of the:
A. cultural affairs department, for free day-use admission to state-owned museums; and
B. energy, minerals and natural resources department, for free day-use admission to state parks.

Effective dates. — Laws 2019, ch. 132 contained no effective date provision, but, pursuant to N.M. Const., art. IV, § 23, was effective June 14, 2019, 90 days after the adjournment of the legislature.
